This tut was made using PSPx4.
And knowledge of PSPx4.
Supplies needed
Tube of choice. I used Alex Prihodko.
You need a license to use his work.
You can get it and his work at Pics For Design.
PTU kit Faery Lights by Irish Princess Designs.
Font of choice I used Bu Glenda.
Go ahead and open list of Things here used and go ahead and resize them
by the percentage by each item. If there is no number no need to resize.
Tube resize to fit
IBD_FL_Paper7
IBD_FL_Swirly
IBD_FL_PinkFaeryLights
IBD_FL_FlowerScatter
IBD_FL_Faery 25%
IBD_FL_FaeryLights
IBD_FL_Vines1
When you see ** look at tag to see placement for Elements.
Sometimes it is hard to say just how to place it.
Drop shadows added are 0.0.75.7 unless otherwise stated.
It is always good to check for overhang of shadow on edges of tag.
I have made a tag or to and not check and when I got done
I would post it and see the over hang on the sides and think MAN!! lol
Remember to save often.
Open new Image 600x250.
Copy and paste IBD_FL_Paper7 as new layer.
Copy and paste IBD_FL_Swirly as new layer.
Move a bit to the right and down.**
Add drop shadow 0.0.75.8
Copy and paste IBD_FL_PinkFaeryLights as new layer.
Copy and paste IBD_FL_FlowerScatter as new layer.
Copy and paste IBD_FL_Faery as new layer.
Move he to right. And place her to look like she
is sitting on the swirly. Add drop shadow 1.1.75.8
Copy and paste IBD_FL_FaeryLights as new layer.
Copy and paste tube as new layer. Image, Flip Horizontal.
Move to left of Sig.** Add drop shadow.
Copy and paste IBD_FL_Vines1 as new layer.
Move to the top left. You will see some of it
on side and top hanging over.** Add drop shadow. 0.0.75.8
On bottom layer Selections all, Add new layer move layer
to the top layer. Selections contract by 5, Invert.
Flood fill with color from tube. Adjust, Add remove noise,
Gaussian, 41% Monochrome checked. click ok.
Add drop shadow. 0.0.75.8
Add proper copyright. url and Lic if required.
Add name Inner Bevel, Bevel 2, width 8
Smoothness 100, Depth 16, Ambience 15, Shineness 35
color (grey), Angle 195, Intensity 40,
Elevations 44. Add drop shadow settings 2.2.100.7
Save your tag before moving onto the Avitar!
For the Avitar. Delete the frame and name.
I used crop tool. Put settings at 150x150.
Moved the square over to what I wanted to show in the avi.
Click the check or hit enter. Merge layers.
Add new layer move layer to the top layer.
Selections all, Selections contract by 5, Invert.
Flood fill with color from tube. Adjust, Add remove noise,
Gaussian, 41% Monochrome checked. click ok.
Add drop shadow. 0.0.75.8
Add proper copyright and Lic info and your initals or name.
Inner bevel same settings as before. Add drop shadow. 2.2.100.7

EyeCandy 4000 gradiant Glow
Muras Meisters Copies
Go ahead and open list of Things here used and go ahead and resize them
by the percentage by each item. If there is no number no need to resize.

Open new image 600 x 250
flood fill with white copy delete
Open Paper_7 paste as new layer on paper.
Selections all, float, defloat.
Click on paper layer copy.
Back to forum sig paste as new layer.
Now you have your background.
Copy and paste tube as new layer.
Blend mode Multiply Opacity 69
Effects Muras Meisters - Copies. Settings are
Wall Paper Random Wraparound
Number 15, x and y 50, Angle and Rotation 0,
Attenuation 0, Scale 100, Thru BG Range and fade out 0.
Click Ok. Blend mode Multiply Opacity 69
Copy and paste tube as new layer. Flip horizontal
and place to left of sig**. Duplicate Blend mode Hard light.
Add drop shadow on original.
Copy and paste Element_27 as new layer.
Move to top right of sig**. Duplicate x4.
Should have 5 of them. Using pick tool rotate each one a bit.
Effects Eyecandy 4000 Gradiant Glow Settings
Color of choice I used white. 4, 100, 100. Click ok.
draw only outside selection. Image Flip Vertically.
On background layer selections all modify,
Contract by 5 Selections invert. Add new layer,
move to top of sig and floodfill with color from tube.
Selections none. Adjust add remove noice, Add noise,
Gaussian 100% Monochrome checked. hit ok. add drop shadow.
Add proper/clear copyright and Lic.# (If Needed)
Add a saying if you wish like I did. If not then just
add your name and your done with the sig. On name I used
Eyecandy 4000 gradiant glow same settings as before in text.
Then added a drop shadow of 2, 2, 100, 4
For the Avitar using Crop tool pixel dimensions w150 x h150
Move the box over to where you want to show in your avi.
Click the check. Delete all layers from the sparkles up.
On background layer selections all Modify contract by 5.
Selections invert. Add new layer,
move to top of sig and flood fill with color from tube.
Selections none. Adjust add remove noise, Add noise,
Gaussian 100% Monochrome checked. hit ok. add drop shadow.
Add proper copyright for an avitar. Name or First letter.
Eyecandy 4000 gradiant glow same settings as before in text.
Then added a drop shadow of 2, 2, 100, 4

This tut was made using PSPx5

Supplies needed
FTU Kit Northern Light by Designs by Vaybs HERE.
Tube of Choice. I am using Steve Baier.
You need a lic to use his work. You can get it and his work HERE.
Font of choice I used Shelly Volante BT. You can get it HERE
Eye Candy 4000 Gradiant Glow.
When you see ** look at tag to see placement for Elements.
Sometimes it is hard to say just how to place it.
Drop shadows added are 0.0.100.4 unless otherwise stated.
It is always good to check for overhang of shadow on edges of tag.

I would post it and see the over hang on the sides and think MAN!! lol
Remember to save often.
New image 600x250
Floodfill with any color Copy
Open DBV_NorthernLightPaper (6) Paste the white layer on it.
Selections all, float, Defloat, Select the paper layer and copy
Paste as new layer on the Sig tag. Delete white layer.
Open DBV_NLElement Resize by 75% Copy and paste as new layer.
Move to the left of tag and down.** Add drop shadow.
Open DBV_NLElement (32) Copy and paste as new layer.
Move to bottom left of tag.** Add drop shadow.
Now you want to Hide the white layer and Merge Visable.
Name this layer Background layer.
Open tube copy and paste as new layer. You may or may
not have to resize depending on the tube use. This one I used
I did not have to resize. Move to the right of the tag and down.**
Add drop shadow.
One the background Selections All. Select tube layer, then Selections invert
Delete. This will get rid of the over hang tube. Selections none.
Back on the background Selections All, Modify Contract by 5, invert
Add new rastor layer. Move this layer to the top. Invert, flood fill
with a color from tag. Selections none. Adjust, Add/remove noise,
add noise Gaussian, 50% Monochrome checked. ok. Add drop shadow.
Now go ahead and add proper/clear copyright and Lic.# (If Needed)
If you wish to add the Baby Its Cold Outside add it now. Then your name.
I used eyecandy 400 gradiant glow on the quote and the name.
Settings glow 3, soft corners 0, overall opacity 100, Draw only on outside checked.
Added a drop shadow of 2, 2, 100,5.
If you do not plan on animating then you are done with this part
of the Signature.
For the animation
Hide the background layer and your name Merge Visable.
Unhide the other layers. Over the background layer add new layer
floodfill with black. Duplicate 2 times. First layer name Snow 1
Middle Snow 2 and the top one snow 3.
Go to Snow 1 Adjust add/remove noise Add noise settings are
Random, 100%, Monochrome checked. Adjust, Blur, Blur.
Adjust, Brightness and contrast, levels, Settings are
RGB, 37, 58, 85 click ok Blend mode Screen.
Repeat on Snow 2 and Snow 3.
Hide the merged layer with the tube, Snow 2 and snow 3.
Copy merged. Open animation shop paste as new animation.
Hide Snow 1 and unhide Snow 2 Copy Merged and in animation
shop paste after current frame. Hide Snow 2 and unhide Snow 3.
Copy merged and paste after current frame. Edit select all.
You have your snowy background now.
In psp hide background and snow layers. Unhide the merged layer
with the tube. It should consist of Quote, Tube, and frame and copyright.
Paste in animation shop. Edit duplicate selected, repeat.
Edit Select all.
Now you want to make sure you are on F:1 Click and Drag it to F:1
of your snowy background making sure it is all in right place before
you let go.
If you plan on making this for more then one person I sugest you save it now
in animation. Then all you have to do is open it and add name like this..
Back in psp copy your name and repeat same steps and you did before
with the frame, tube, quote, copyright layer.
For the Avitar in PSP
On the sig tag (after you save it for a blank if your gonna save it)
Delete the top layer, name and the snow layers.
Using crop tool set it to W 150, H 150 Move to a part of
the background you want in the avi. Click on the check.
Image Flip Horizontal. Selections all, Modify, contract by 4, invert.
Add new rastor layer flood fill with same color used on Sig.
Selections none.
Adjust Add/remove noise, add noise, Settings
Gaussian, 50% Monochrome checked. ok. Add drop shadow.
Using same font as before add your First letter or if it fits
name which ever you prefer and save. Settings for gradiant glow
and drop shadow for this are the same as used on the name
and quote in the Sig.

On Wording I used Adorable you can get it HERE.

Open paper 5 and click on flood fill tool. Make Paper 5 your pattern
flood fill image with paper.
Copy Close up may have to resize bigger. Place to left of Signature.**
Blend Luminance(L) Duplicate Blend Hardlight.
Open Sparkles 2 Copy and paste as new layer.
Open Clouds Copy and paste as new layer.
Copy tube paste as new layer place to right of Signature.**
Image flip Horizontal. Duplicate Blend Hardlight.
Open Candle 2 resize by 40% copy and paste as new layer. Place to left of
signature just under the eyes of close up.
On background layer Selections - Select all - Modify - Contract by 4
Add new raster layer move to top layer flood fill Black.
Adjust - Add/remove noise - add noise 100% Add Drop Shadow. 2, 4, 100, 9
Add proper/clear copyright and Lic.# (If Needed)
I added a saying you can if you wish to add or not.
Add name and then a drop shadow to name if you wish.
For the Avatar...
Duplicate Signature Click on your crop tool Width 150 height 175
delete all layers but the Cloud, sparkles, smaller tube, and background.
On Background layer Seletions all - Modify - Contract by 4 Selections Invert
Adjust Add new raster Move to top Flood Fill Black
Add/remove noise - add noise 100% Add Drop Shadow.
Don't forget the proper Copyright and Lic infor for your Avatar
Using same font as did for name in Signature add name or Intials.
Add drop shadow same drop shadow.

PTU Dark Gothic Love from Disenando Scraps HERE.
Tube of Choice One with a close up. I used Camilla Drakenborg.

Sometimes it is hard to say just how to place it.
Drop shadows added are 0.0.100.4 unless otherwise stated.
It is always good to check for overhang of shadow on edges of tag.

Remember to save often.
Start with new image 600x250
Open darkgothiclovefgpaper30 and go to materials and choose it as your pattern.
Flood fill new image with the pattern.
Open darkgothiclovefghearts2 copy and paste as new layer.
Add Drop shadow.
Copy and paste Tube(b) as new layer move to left some and a bit to bottom**
Add drop shadow.
Open darkgothiclovefvchainshearts copy and paste as new layer.
Copy tube again paste as new layer mirror move face to under the heart part
of charm. Resize by 120. Erase everything but whats shows in the heart.
Duplicate Blend hardlight.
Add proper/clear copyright, URL, and Lic.# (If Needed)
Add name using darkgothiclovefvpaper17 as the pattern Black as a trim.
Add drop shadow of 2,2,100,10.
For the Avatar I merged all layers on Sig (make sure sig is saved)
and just took a piece of the tag added a frame like I did with Sig.
Same setting for the Name as in Sig Add drop shadow to frame and name.
Add proper/clear copyright and Lic.# (If Needed)
I played around with it in Animation shop afterwards and I like the results.
Just let your imagination wonder!

This one is a bit different then the Kit name suggests. With the holiday being just last week and me also being sick I wasnt able to get one done in time. So I decided to go a different route. Take a themed kit and show you what can be done without the theme. I do hope you like it!

Open New Image 600x250
Flood fill with white - copy
Open paper 17 paste the white Selections - all - float - Defloat
Copy from the paper layer then paste on our tag delete the white layer.
Open Tube copy and paste as new layer to the left of tag. Duplicate blend mode Screen
Merge layer down Add drop shadow
Open Element33 Copy and paste as new layer resize by 50% Move to right
Duplicate Image-mirror Merge layer down Add Drop shadow.
On paper layer (very bottom) Selections - Select all - Modify - Contract by 12 - invert
Add new rastor layer bring to top flood fill with black Selections - Modify - Contract by 2
add new rastor layer Flood fill with color from tube Duplicate 2 times
On original Adjust - Add/remove noise - add noise
Random Monochrome checked - 75% Repeat for duplicate layers
nameing them glitter 1 glitter 2 and glitter 3 starting from bottom one
(This is for Animation)
Go ahead and add the proper copyright and URL
Add name Effects - inner Bevel - with below settings Then add drop shadow
Take your black frame layer merge down then down again Paper layer selections all.
Back to where tube, stars and black frameare at merge down Copy and paste in
animation shop selections none
In Animation shop
Effects - Insert Image Effect Scratches Effect length 2.0 sec Frames per second 6
Click ok Now delete the first frame leaving you with 12 Edit select all
make sure frame 1 is showing
For the glitter frame Hide all layers but the glitter 1 layers copy mearged
paste in AS as new animation
Unhide Glitter 2 Copy Mearged paste in AS after current image
Unhide Glitter 3 Copy Mearged Paste in AS after current image
With the glitter frames in animation shop Edit Select all Animation Frame properties
change to 15 Copy and paste after current layer Click on layer 6 edite select all
copy and paste after current layer Edit select all go to frame 1 drag to Sig tag make sure
it is even with the black frame like it is in PSP
For your copyright in PSP hide all but that copy merged and paste as new image in AS
duplicate till you have 12 frames edit select all on frame 1 drag to frame one of your sig tag
place where you had it in psp.
Now you want to save this like it is before you add your name this way if you make for more
then one all you have to do is open in animation shop and paste the name to it like we are fixing
to do with our name now.
Do with your name the same way we did with the copyright save with a different name so you
dont override what we just saved.
For the Avatar. If you choose to do one.
This will be non animated.
Open new image 150x150
floodfill with white copy
Open paper 17 paste the white as new layer selections - all - float - defloat
click on paper layer copy then paste in Avatar. Delete the white layer from the avatar.
Add your tube and move to the left just a bit. add drop shadow
On paper layer selections - all - Modify - Contract by 3 - invert
Add new rastor layer move to top flood fill in selection with black Selections none
Add drop shadow
Add proper info needed for Avatars Name/initial and your done.

No scrap kits were used.
Font of Choice
Open new 650 x 250
Use a color from your tube and floodfill
Effects - Krustys FX Vol 2 - Pattern Generator 2 default settings
Effects - Funhouse - Perverse - 124 - 124 - 34
The color may change if so use Change to Target tool and go over it with same color you
used for the original background
Copy and paste tube to the side - Duplicate - Bottom tube - Effects - Distortion - Wind -
From right - 50 and then again from left 100
Top tube layer - Drop Shadow - 2, 2, 0, 6
Background layer - selections - select all - selections - modify - contract by 5
Selections - Invert Layers - New Rastor layer - flood fill inside selection with black
or color from tube - select none move to top.
New Rastor layer move to over background layer Selection tool Rectangle flood fill with
lighter color from background layer - Effects - Xero - Fritillary - 22, 30, 10, 20 ok
Selections invert - Paste close up of tube delete select none
Blend mode - Luminance(L) Duplicate - Blend mode - either Hard light or Burn
which ever looks better according to the tube. Bottom Close up tube layer - merge down
Other close up Tube layer merge down. Select all - float defloat - rastor layer -
flood fill black hide layer
Add proper copyright, url, and lic info on seperate layer and hide
Add name on Seperate layer and hide
Now if you do not want to animate do not hide copyright layer or the Name layer
and leave the black layer hid save.
Now for the animation part should you choose to do so.
Remember hide the copyrght and name layers
Copy Merged - Open animation shop Paste as new animation - Insert Image Effect -
Scratches - Effect length 2.0 sec Frames per Sec 10 will make total of 21 frames when
you click ok. Deleted first frame - Edit - Select all - Edit - Duplicate Selected
Back in PSP copy the black rectangle layer and then paste as new animation in
Animation shop. Insert Image Transmission - Blinds - Trans. Length 2.0 sec
Frames per sec 10 customize - vertical - 15. when you click on ok you will have total of
21 frames - delete first frame - edit - select all
Now make sure both are on frame 1 Click on the blind pic and drag it to the tag and put
in same spot where the close up is. Now where your rectangle layer was will go blank
just hit the undo button. It will reapear. Now click on Animation - reverse frames and
from frame 1 drag to your tag on to frame 21.
Now copy the copyright info in psp and paste as new animation Edit Duplicate selected.
Keep doing this till you have 40 frames. You may have to paste after new layer a few
times to get to 40. Edit - Select all - on frame 1 Drag to frame 1 of your tag.
Do the same with your name.
For the Avatar
back in PSP click on Crop tool - width 150 height - 150 and move it to where you want the
Avatar to look like click ok. On Background layer selections - Select all - Modify Contract by 4
Invert - New Rastor Layer - Flood fill same color as frame on Sig tag. Move to top layer.
Add proper copyright and lic info and name or letter, save. We Are Done!

which ever looks better according to the tube. Bottom Close up tube layer - merge down
Other close up Tube layer merge down. Select all - float defloat - rastor layer -
flood fill black hide layer
Add proper copyright, url, and lic info on seperate layer and hide
Add name on Seperate layer and hide
Now if you do not want to animate do not hide copyright layer or the Name layer
and leave the black layer hid save.
Now for the animation part should you choose to do so.
Remember hide the copyrght and name layers
Copy Merged - Open animation shop Paste as new animation - Insert Image Effect -
Scratches - Effect length 2.0 sec Frames per Sec 10 will make total of 21 frames when
you click ok. Deleted first frame - Edit - Select all - Edit - Duplicate Selected
Back in PSP copy the black rectangle layer and then paste as new animation in
Animation shop. Insert Image Transmission - Blinds - Trans. Length 2.0 sec
Frames per sec 10 customize - vertical - 15. when you click on ok you will have total of
21 frames - delete first frame - edit - select all
Now make sure both are on frame 1 Click on the blind pic and drag it to the tag and put
in same spot where the close up is. Now where your rectangle layer was will go blank
just hit the undo button. It will reapear. Now click on Animation - reverse frames and
from frame 1 drag to your tag on to frame 21.
Now copy the copyright info in psp and paste as new animation Edit Duplicate selected.
Keep doing this till you have 40 frames. You may have to paste after new layer a few
times to get to 40. Edit - Select all - on frame 1 Drag to frame 1 of your tag.
Do the same with your name.
For the Avatar
back in PSP click on Crop tool - width 150 height - 150 and move it to where you want the
Avatar to look like click ok. On Background layer selections - Select all - Modify Contract by 4
Invert - New Rastor Layer - Flood fill same color as frame on Sig tag. Move to top layer.
Add proper copyright and lic info and name or letter, save. We Are Done!
